Moto G100 has an overall score of 88.9, which is much better than the Moto G8's 74.4 score. The Moto G100 construction is newer, but a little thicker and a bit heavier than the Moto G8. Both phones in this review include Android operating system, but Moto G100 has 11 version while Moto G8 has Android 10 version, counting with some extra features.

Moto G100 features just a bit better performance than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have 8 cores, the Moto G100 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Moto G100 features a sharper screen than Moto G8, because it has a lot greater pixel density, a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 and a bit bigger screen.

The Moto G100 has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Moto G8, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Moto G100 features superior battery duration than Moto G8, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Moto G100 takes way better photos and videos than Moto G8, and although they both have the same aperture, the Moto G100 also has a much higher video definition and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
