Galaxy A31 is slightly better than the Motorola Moto G8, with an 81.3 score against 74.4. Both phones in this review use the same Android 10 OS (operating system). The Galaxy A31 is a just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter device than the Motorola Moto G8, even though they were only released 2 months apart.
Samsung Galaxy A31 features a brighter display than Moto G8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also has a much higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a much greater pixels density. Samsung Galaxy A31 and Moto G8 have quite similar memory to store more apps and games, both of them have an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB and equal 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy A31's CPU is very similar to the Motorola Moto G8 one, both have a 4 GB RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Galaxy A31 features a much better camera than Moto G8, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy A31 also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
