Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy M40 is much better than Moto G8, getting a score of 85 against 74.4. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS, so both of them should give very similar OS features. Samsung Galaxy M40's design is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Moto G8, even though both were released only 9 months apart.

The Galaxy M40 has just a bit better performance than Moto G8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy M40 also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy M40 has a much better looking screen than Motorola Moto G8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher display density and a way better resolution of 1080 x 2340px.

Galaxy M40 has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Moto G8, and although they both have a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy M40 has a superior camera than Motorola Moto G8, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same aperture and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy M40 also has a way more megapixels camera in the back.

The Motorola Moto G8 counts with a little longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
