Comparison review
Galaxy S23 is just a bit better than the Moto G8, having a global score of 77.9 against 74.4. Galaxy S23 is a thinner and noticeably lighter phone than the Moto G8. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S23 has the newer 13 version and Moto G8 has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a lot of extra features.
Motorola Moto G8 counts with a much faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy S23, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. Samsung Galaxy S23 has a little sharper display than Moto G8, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a way higher pixels number per display inch.
The Moto G8 has more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S23, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that admits up to 512 GB. Moto G8 features a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S23, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3900mAh.
Galaxy S23 has a bit better camera than Moto G8, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and video, it also counts with a camera in the back with much more megapixels.
