Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a global score of 80.5, which is a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 8's general score of 79.5. These phones have Android OS (Operating System), but Motorola Moto G9 Plus has the previous 10 version and Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14 version. Motorola Moto G9 Plus is a older and just a bit thicker device than the Asus ROG Phone 8, but Motorola made it a little lighter anyway.

The Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a much powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a better looking display than Motorola Moto G9 Plus. Both of them have the same screen pixel density, exactly the same 1080 x 2400 resolution and a same size screen.

The Moto G9 Plus counts with just a bit bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 8, because although it has just 128 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. Asus ROG Phone 8 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a camera in the back with way less mega-pixels and a tinier aperture which is worse for low light images and video, it also counts with a larger back camera sensor capturing better quality photos and a way higher video definition.

Asus ROG Phone 8 has a bit longer battery performance than Moto G9 Plus, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 5000mAh.
