Comparison review

The Huawei P40 is a little bit better than the Moto G9 Plus, getting an 86.4 score against 80.5. Both phones in this review use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding OS features. The Huawei P40 body is somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than Moto G9 Plus, even when both of them were released with only 5 months difference.

The Huawei P40 features a little bit better screen than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixel amount in each inch in the display. Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 512 GB.

The Huawei P40 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei P40 shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 video quality, a camera with way less mega pixels resolution and a smaller aperture which is worse for shooting photographs and videos in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot larger sensor providing a way higher image quality.

The Motorola Moto G9 Plus features improved battery lifetime than Huawei P40, because it has a 32 percent larger battery size.
