Galaxy S20 is better than Moto G9 Plus, having a overall score of 94.8 against 80.5. Even though the Galaxy S20 and Moto G9 Plus were released only 6 months apart, the Galaxy S20 is thinner and a lot lighter. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy S20 has 13 version and Moto G9 Plus has Android 10, so it provides you lots of additional features and increased performance.

The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a sharper screen than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200. The Galaxy S20 has a bit more storage for applications and games than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy S20 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1000 GB.

Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a little faster CPU than Moto G9 Plus, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has a larger amount of RAM. Moto G9 Plus has superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has a 25 percent larger battery capacity. The Motorola Moto G9 Plus takes much better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S20, and although they both have a same size sensor, the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and faster 30 fps video frame rate.
