The Motorola Moto G9 Plus has a general score of 80.5, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 general score. Motorola Moto G9 Plus's body is noticeably newer than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge's, although it is a lot heavier and much thicker. Both phones we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Moto G9 Plus has the previous 10 version and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Motorola Moto G9 Plus features a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Motorola Moto G9 Plus also has a greater number of 2.2 GHz cores. Galaxy S7 edge features a slightly better looking display than Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better display density.

Moto G9 Plus counts with a much better storage for games and applications than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has 128 GB internal memory and an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Moto G9 Plus has a much better camera than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Moto G9 Plus also counts with a much bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a much more mega pixels camera in the back.

The Moto G9 Plus has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
