The Xiaomi Mi Max is just a bit better than the Moto M, getting a 77.5 score against 71.6. Although the Xiaomi Mi Max and Moto M were released with only a few months difference, Xiaomi Mi Max's design is heavier but also a little thinner than Moto M. The Moto M has a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi Max. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor.
The Moto M features a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi Max, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1080 x 1920 resolution, the Moto M also counts with a bit greater pixels density. Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Motorola Moto M, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 256 GB and 96 GB more internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi Max counts with a superior camera than Moto M, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same resolution camera in the back, the Xiaomi Mi Max also has a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution. Xiaomi Mi Max has a very superior battery duration than Moto M, because it has a 4850mAh battery capacity instead of 3050mAh.
