Google Nexus 5 is a bit better than Moto Z Droid Edition, having a 76 score against 75.6. Even though Google Nexus 5 is extremely older and thicker than the Moto Z Droid Edition, it's construction is still just a bit lighter. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but Google Nexus 5 has the older 4.4.3 version while Moto Z Droid Edition has Android 7.1 Nougat.
Google Nexus 5 features a slightly better screen than Moto Z Droid Edition, although it has a just a little worse quantity of pixels per inch of screen, a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little smaller screen. The Moto Z Droid Edition counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Google Nexus 5, because it has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal storage.
Google Nexus 5 features a little bit better performance than Moto Z Droid Edition, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition shoots much better photographs and videos than Google Nexus 5, because it has a lot more MP camera in the back, a way bigger camera aperture and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution.
The Motorola Moto Z Droid Edition has a bit longer battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 13% greater battery size.
