Comparison review

The OnePlus 8 is a bit better than Moto Z Play, getting a 76 score against 74.4. OnePlus 8's design is notably newer, but just a little thicker and a bit heavier than Moto Z Play. OnePlus 8 features a much better looking screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a little bit more pixels per inch in the screen and a larger display.

The OnePlus 8 has a bit superior CPU than Motorola Moto Z Play, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM. OnePlus 8 shoots much better pictures and videos than Moto Z Play, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has better 60 fps video frame rate, a lot better 48 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture.

The Moto Z Play counts with a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. OnePlus 8 has improved battery lifetime than Moto Z Play, because it has a 23% more battery size.

Although OnePlus 8 is a better device, it is more expensive than the Motorola Moto Z Play, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Motorola Moto Z Play. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy OnePlus 8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Motorola Moto Z Play, letting go some specs and features.
