Comparison review

Galaxy Note Edge has a score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Moto Z Play's global score of 74.4. Even though Galaxy Note Edge is better than the Moto Z Play, it must be told that it is also extremely older, a little heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note Edge has the previous 5.0 version while Moto Z Play has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Galaxy Note Edge has just a bit better performance than Moto Z Play, because although it has 4 lesser CPU cores , and they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with an extra graphics processor. Galaxy Note Edge has a much sharper screen than Moto Z Play, because it has a higher display pixel density, a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and a quite larger display.

Motorola Moto Z Play has a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Motorola Moto Z Play also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy Note Edge has a slightly better camera than Moto Z Play, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and videos in low light situations, they both have the same video frame rates, the same resolution camera in the back and the same (4K) video definition.

The Moto Z Play counts with a bit better battery performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 3510mAh of battery capacity.

The Galaxy Note Edge is way more expensive than the Motorola Moto Z Play, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
