The Motorola Edge 20 Pro is much better than the Motorola Moto Z, getting a 92.8 score against 74.5. Motorola Edge 20 Pro is a a lot newer phone than the Motorola Moto Z, although it is notably heavier and a lot thicker. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 20 Pro has the previous 12 version while Motorola Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo.

Motorola Moto Z counts with a little more vivid screen than Motorola Edge 20 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and more pixels per inch in the display. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro counts with a superior processor than Moto Z, because it has a higher number of cores and 8 GB more RAM memory.

The Motorola Edge 20 Pro has a slightly bigger memory to install applications and games than Moto Z, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory capacity. Motorola Edge 20 Pro shoots a lot better photos and videos than Moto Z, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light photos and videos, it also counts with a lot higher video resolution and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
