Galaxy A5 (2017) has a global score of 75.8, which is a bit better than the Motorola Moto Z's global score of 74.5. Even being the best phone in this review, Galaxy A5 (2017) is a somewhat heavier and a lot thicker phone than Motorola Moto Z. Motorola Moto Z has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy A5 (2017), because it has a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, a little larger display and a better pixel density.
Moto Z features a way bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Moto Z also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Moto Z and the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) count with really similar processors, because although the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with more processing cores.
The Moto Z takes slightly better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a camera in the back with a lower resolution, it also counts with a much higher (4K) video resolution and a larger aperture for better photos and video in low light situations. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a bit longer battery lifetime than Moto Z, because it has a 15 percent more battery size.
