Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the Motorola Moto Z's general score of 74.5. Both of these phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the older 5.0 version while Motorola Moto Z has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a better phone than Motorola Moto Z, it must be noted that it is also way older, noticeably thicker and heavier.

The Galaxy Note 3 has a bit sharper display than Moto Z, because although it has way less pixels per inch of display and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a little bit larger display. Galaxy Note 3 features a bit faster processing unit than Moto Z, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Note 3 also counts with an extra graphics processor.

Moto Z features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with superior battery life than Moto Z, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity against 2600mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z, although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for taking photographs and video in low-light situations, they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same resolution camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 not only is the best devices between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also cheap compared to the Moto Z, making this phone a simple decision.
