Comparison review
The Motorola Moto Z4 has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20's 78.1 score. Motorola Moto Z4's construction has the same weight than the Huawei P20, but it is a little bit thinner. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Moto Z4 has the previous 10 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Huawei P20 has a bit superior processing unit than Moto Z4. Both have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Huawei P20 counts with a little more vivid screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2244, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel number per inch of display.
Moto Z4 counts with a very superior memory for games and applications than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Moto Z4 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Moto Z4 takes much better photographs and videos than Huawei P20, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Moto Z4 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a higher image and video quality, a larger aperture and a camera with much more megapixels.
The Moto Z4 features just a bit better battery life than Huawei P20, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Motorola Moto Z4 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei P20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P20. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei P20, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
