The Motorola Edge 50 is a bit better than Moto Z4, having a score of 81.2 against 79.8. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 50 has newer 14 version and Moto Z4 has Android 10 version. Even though the Motorola Edge 50 is much newer than Moto Z4, it's just a little heavier and just a bit thicker.
The Moto Z4 features a way better performance than Motorola Edge 50, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Motorola Edge 50 features a sharper screen than Motorola Moto Z4, because it has a little bit more pixels per screen inch, a bit larger display and a slightly higher resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels.
The Motorola Edge 50 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Motorola Edge 50 also counts with a way bigger sensor and a more mega pixels back-facing camera.
Moto Z4 has just a bit bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Motorola Edge 50, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 512 GB. The Motorola Edge 50 features a really longer battery life than Moto Z4, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
