Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is a little bit better than Motorola One Power's 75.7 overall score. The Xperia 1 construction is a little thinner and somewhat lighter than Motorola One Power, even though they were released only 8 months apart. The Xperia 1 has just a little better processing power than Motorola One Power, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 also has a higher amount of RAM.

The Xperia 1 has a sharper display than Motorola One Power, because it has a lot higher display density, a little bit larger display and a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Sony Xperia 1's camera is very similar to the Motorola One Power one, because although the Sony Xperia 1 has a back-facing camera with way less MP resolution and a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and video in poorly lited environments.

The Sony Xperia 1 features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Motorola One Power, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Motorola One Power counts with a superior battery performance than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3330mAh.
