Motorola Edge 40 is a bit better than Motorola One, with a 77.2 score against 74.3. The Motorola Edge 40 is a a lot newer and just a bit thinner cellphone than the Motorola One, although it is also just a little bit heavier. Both devices we are comparing here use Android OS, but the Motorola Edge 40 has an older 13 version and Motorola One has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Motorola One has a much powerful processor than Motorola Edge 40, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Motorola Edge 40 counts with a lot better looking display than Motorola One, because it has a greater display density, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a little larger screen.
The Motorola One features a little bit better memory to install games and applications than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Motorola Edge 40 takes a lot better pictures and videos than Motorola One, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Motorola Edge 40 also has a much larger aperture and a back camera with a way better 50 megapixels resolution.
The Motorola Edge 40 features a really longer battery life than Motorola One, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
