The Sony Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than the Motorola One, getting a 77.6 score against 74.3. Sony Xperia Z5's body is just a little thinner and a little bit lighter than Motorola One, although it was released 3 years before. Both devices in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia Z5 has 5.1 version and Motorola One has Android 9.0 Pie.

Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit superior processor than Motorola One, because although it has less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional GPU. The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a way better display than Motorola One, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a better quantity of pixels per display inch.

Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a superior camera than Motorola One, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a back facing camera with way more mega pixels and a larger aperture for better low-light photos and video.

Motorola One has a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB. The Motorola One has a little longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs more money than the Motorola One, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola One. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5, else you can save some money and get the Motorola One, letting go a couple features and specs.
