Comparison review

The Acer Liquid is a bit better than Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, getting a general score of 45 against 41.2. Even though the Acer Liquid and Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition were only released 2 months apart, the Acer Liquid construction is somewhat thinner but also somewhat heavier. Acer Liquid works with Android 1.6 operating system, and Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition comes with Symbian 9.4 operating system.

Acer Liquid counts with a bit better processor than Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, and although they both have a Single-Core CPU, the Acer Liquid also has a higher amount of RAM and an additional graphics processor. The Acer Liquid features a little sharper display than Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, because it has a little bit greater pixel density, a better 800 x 480 resolution and a bit bigger screen.

Acer Liquid's storage capacity to store more games and applications is just as good as the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition one, although the Acer Liquid has no SD memory card expansion slot. Acer Liquid captures a bit better pictures and videos than Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, because although it has slower 20 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same (VGA) video definition, the Acer Liquid also counts with a camera in the back with way more megapixels.

Acer Liquid has a little better battery performance than Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, because it has 1350mAh of battery capacity against 1320mAh.

Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, Acer Liquid is also a lot cheaper.
