Comparison review

Samsung Focus S has a general score of 56.5, which is just a bit better than Nokia 701's general score of 51.4. The Samsung Focus S comes with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango operating system, while Nokia 701 has Symbian Belle operating system. Samsung Focus S's construction is incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter than the Nokia 701, although both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

The Samsung Focus S has a little sharper screen than Nokia 701, because it has a better resolution of 800 x 480px, a little bit higher screen pixels density and a larger display. Samsung Focus S counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Nokia 701. Both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Focus S captures a bit better photographs and videos than Nokia 701, although it has lower video frame rate, they both have the same 1280x720 video quality and the same resolution camera.

Nokia 701 has slightly more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Focus S, because although it has only 8 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 32 GB. The Samsung Focus S counts with better battery life than Nokia 701, because it has a 27 percent bigger battery capacity.

In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Samsung Focus S is also by far the cheapest one.
