Comparison review
Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20, getting a general score of 80.3 against 79.5. Although Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a lot newer than the Huawei Mate 20, it is heavier and a little thicker. These phones use Android OS, but the Nokia 8 V 5G UW has the previous 10 version while Huawei Mate 20 has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Huawei Mate 20 features a bit faster processing unit than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, although it has less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Huawei Mate 20 features a little more vivid screen than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, a little bit smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2244.
Nokia 8 V 5G UW shoots a lot better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 20, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same camera aperture, the Nokia 8 V 5G UW also has a back facing camera with a lot higher 64 megapixels resolution, higher video frame rate and a way larger back-facing camera sensor.
The Nokia 8 V 5G UW counts with a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1000 GB. Nokia 8 V 5G UW features just a bit better battery life than Huawei Mate 20, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
Although Nokia 8 V 5G UW is a better device, it is more expensive than Huawei Mate 20, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei Mate 20. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei Mate 20, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
