Comparison review
The Xperia 5 III has a global score of 90.5, which is much better than Nokia 8 V 5G UW's global score of 80.3. Although Xperia 5 III and the Nokia 8 V 5G UW were only released 5 months apart, Xperia 5 III is noticeably lighter and just a little bit thinner. These phones use Android OS, but Xperia 5 III has newer 11 version while Nokia 8 V 5G UW has Android 10 version, giving some nice extra features and performance improvements.
The Xperia 5 III features a little more vivid screen than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of display and a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution. The Sony Xperia 5 III features a much better storage for games and applications than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, because it has more internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 1 TB.
The Xperia 5 III features a bit better processing power than Nokia 8 V 5G UW, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia 5 III also has a higher amount of RAM. The Xperia 5 III's battery performance is just as good as the Nokia 8 V 5G UW one. The Nokia 8 V 5G UW counts with a better camera than Xperia 5 III, because although it has worse 60 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not good for shooting images and video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same size camera sensor, the Nokia 8 V 5G UW also counts with a back facing camera with a much better resolution.
