Asus ROG Phone is slightly better than the Nokia 8, getting a 77.1 score against 73.8. The Asus ROG Phone design is newer, but way heavier and a bit thicker than Nokia 8. The Asus ROG Phone counts with a bit superior CPU than Nokia 8, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone also has more RAM memory.
Nokia 8 counts with a bit better screen than Asus ROG Phone, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with more brightness, a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and a better pixels count per inch of display. Nokia 8 has a very superior camera than Asus ROG Phone, although it has a smaller back camera sensor giving a worse image quality, a tinier camera aperture which is not good for low-light captures and worse video frame rate, they both have the same video resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone features a much greater storage capacity for apps and games than Nokia 8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone features improved battery duration than Nokia 8, because it has a 4000mAh battery size instead of 3090mAh.
Although Asus ROG Phone is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Nokia 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Nokia 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Nokia 8, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
