Comparison review

Sony Xperia 1 has a general score of 82.6, which is much better than Nokia 8's general score of 73.8. The Sony Xperia 1 is a newer phone than Nokia 8, although it is just a bit thicker and heavier. The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit better looking display than Nokia 8, because although it has much lower brightness, it also counts with a just a bit higher count of pixels in each inch of display, a better 1644 x 3840 resolution and a larger display.

The Xperia 1 features a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Nokia 8, because it has more internal memory and a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Xperia 1 counts with a bit faster processor than Nokia 8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Xperia 1 takes a bit better photographs and videos than Nokia 8, because although it has a lower (4K) video resolution and a lesser MP resolution camera, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors. The Xperia 1 features a bit longer battery duration than Nokia 8, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Nokia 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Nokia 8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Nokia 8, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
