The Nokia X6 is slightly better than Nokia N86 8MP, with a general score of 47 against 43.1. Both of these devices include Symbian operating system, but Nokia X6 has newer 9.4 version and Nokia N86 8MP has Symbian 9.3. The Nokia X6 construction is lighter and thinner than the Nokia N86 8MP, even though both of them were released with only a couple of months difference.

Nokia X6 features a processing unit that is very similar to the processor in Nokia N86 8MP, and although the Nokia X6 has more RAM, they both have a Single-Core processor. Nokia X6 features a sharper screen than Nokia N86 8MP, because it has a much higher resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, a bigger display and more pixels per screen inch.

Nokia X6 has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Nokia N86 8MP, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. The Nokia X6 features a bit longer battery duration than Nokia N86 8MP, because it has 1320mAh of battery capacity instead of 1200mAh.

The Nokia X6 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Nokia N86 8MP, although it has a lower (VGA) video definition and a much less mega-pixels back facing camera.
