Nokia N86 8MP is a not very powerful Symbian phone launched in February 2009, provisioned with an 8 MP back camera, a good 434 megahertz processing unit and a small sized 2.6" display.
The Nokia N86 8MP is 4.07" long, but it's only able to hold a way smaller 2.6" screen. This device is a little bit thick compared to current phones, with a thickness of 0.65". Apparently Nokia totally forgot about weight optimization, putting together a 5.26 oz device.
This cellphone ships with a good CPU speeding at 434 megahertz and just 75 MB RAM memory. A nice feature of the Nokia N86 8MP is the 8 GB quite large internal memory and an external memory card slot, which allows the user to store hundreds of apps without worrying about space.
This phone only has an 8 MP back facing camera. It is capable of capturing VGA 640x480 videos at 30 fps. This camera also features some good characteristics like auto-focus, flash, digital image stabilization, fast burst mode and geo tagging.
Nokia equipped this phone with a interesting 2.6" screen, and a resolution of 320 x 240 (QVGA), which makes all pictures and videos look nice.
The Nokia N86 8MP provides wi-fi capability (but it can't be shared with other devices around, acting as a wireless router) and the fastest 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This cellphone works with a SIM card to use GSM services.
The Nokia N86 8MP also comes with a couple cool characteristics like Bluetooth (2.0, EDR) and GPS, and some sensors likeLight Sensor and Accelerometer.
This phone features a low capacity 1200 mAh Li-Ion replaceable battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. Nokia afirms this cellphone has a talk time of 6.3 hours and a stand by time of 315 hours.
This phone is very overpriced considering it is offerred for 155 dollars, while many similar devices cost a lot less than that.
