The Xperia M is just a bit better than Nokia XL, getting a global score of 57 against 52.4. Xperia M counts with Android 4.3 operating system, and Nokia XL comes with Android Nokia X 1.0 UI operating system. Xperia M is a lighter and thinner phone than the Nokia XL, although both were only released 9 months apart.

Xperia M counts with a little more vivid display than Nokia XL, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher 854 x 480 resolution and a higher pixel density. Sony Xperia M counts with a bit better CPU than Nokia XL, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Sony Xperia M also has 256 MB more RAM and a better GPU running at 450 MHz.

The Nokia XL takes much better pictures and videos than Sony Xperia M. Both have the same resolution camera in the back. Xperia M has as much storage for games and applications as the Nokia XL one, they have a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 32 GB and exactly the same internal storage.

The Nokia XL counts with a bit better battery duration than Xperia M, because it has a 2000mAh battery size.
