Nokia XL Review

Nokia XL is a decently made phone launched in 2014, which counts with a Dual-Core processor running at 1 GHz, a good size 5" touch-screen, and 2 cameras, a 5 MP back facing camera and a 2 megapixels front-facing camera.

This phone ships with a Qualcomm Snpadragon S4 MSM8225 chip, backed up by a powerful 1000 megahertz Dual-Core CPU and 768 MB of RAM memory. Helping with graphic calculations, it also counts with a 245 MHz Adreno 203 GPU. This phone counts with a 4 GB internal storage memory, a moderate quantity that should be enough for the average user considering that this device also has an SD extension slot to store pictures and videos.

Although the Nokia XL is very slim and comfortable it's not close to being one of the thinnest phones currently available, with a thickness of 0.43 inches. The Nokia XL is a very compact cellphone, taking into consideration it features a 5" display and it has just 5.57" long and 3.06 inches wide. This cellphone isn't very light comparing with today standards, weighting 6.7 oz. This cellphone is sold in many colors, black, yellow, green, blue, red and white.

This cellphone is equipped with two cameras, a 5 MP back side camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. Its back side camera lens has a F2.8 aperture so it has serious difficulties taking clear pictures in low lighting conditions. This cellphone also includes some interesting characteristics like flash, auto-focus and face detection shooting.

Nokia equipped the Nokia XL with a nice 5" screen, and a resolution of 800 x 480 , giving this phone a good graphic quality. Its screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and is multi-touch enabled.

This phone offers WiFi capability (which it can share with other devices acting as a mobile hotspot) and fast 3G connection type, supported by HSDPA, HSUPA and EDGE technologies. The Nokia XL comes with 2 Micro SIM cards so it can to work with two different phone lines in the same phone.

This phone uses a 2000 mAh medium capacity battery that provides the Nokia XL a poor battery duration. According to Nokia, this cellphone has a reported stand by time of 720 hs and a talk time of 16 hours.

This cellphone also comes with a handful of interesting features such as Bluetooth (3.0) and GPS Geolocation, and multiple sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.
