Nokia N9 Review

Nokia N9 is a good cellphone launched some years ago, in 2011, coming with an 8 megapixels back camera, a great performance processor running at 1000 MHz and a 3.9" multi-touch screen.

It seems like Nokia forgot about weight optimization in this 4.76 ounces cellphone. Nokia is offering this cellphone in 3 different color options, black, blue and red.

This cellphone comes with a powerful 1 GHz CPU and 1 GB RAM memory. Handling graphic intensive games and apps, it also uses a 200 megahertz PowerVR SGX530 GPU. A good advantage of this phone is the 16 GB quite big internal storage and although it doesn't count with an external memory card slot, it should be enough to install a couple hundred apps, although it may not be enough if you are fan of the heaviest games available nowadays or taking tons of photos and videos.

This cellphone has only an 8 mega-pixels back facing camera. The Nokia N9 also shoots videos in HD 1280x720 at 30 fps. In addition, this device's camera also counts with a couple of useful features like flash, auto-focus, face detection shooting and geo tagging.

The Nokia N9 includes a good level 854 x 480 3.9" screen, which makes everything look very good. Its screen uses AMOLED capacitive technology, and can detect multiple fingers at the same time.

The Nokia N9 provides WiFi capability (although it can't share it with other devices acting as a router) and fast 3G data connection, over HSDPA, HSUPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. The Nokia N9 works with a SIM card for GSM carriers.

The Nokia N9 packs a 1450 mAh medium sized Li-Ion battery that can keep it running for some hours, although you will probably find yourself looking for a place to charge it if you use it heavily. This cellphone has an estimated 384 hours stand by time and a 11 hours talk time according to Nokia.

This cellphone also features some cool features as NFC (to trigger actions, transfer data or make payments by holding your cellphone close to another NFC device or tag), Bluetooth (allows communication with other bluetooth devices and accessories) and GPS Navigation, and plenty of sensors like Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer and Compass.

This phone is very overvalued considering it is offerred for $ 140, and other similar devices are sold for much less than that.
