Comparison review
Galaxy A42 is much better than OnePlus 7, having an 87 score against 71.6. Even though the Galaxy A42 is newer than OnePlus 7, it is just a little bit heavier and a little thicker. Both of these devices include the same Android 11 OS. OnePlus 7 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 7 also has more RAM memory.
The OnePlus 7 has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a lot greater pixel quantity per inch of display. The OnePlus 7 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same video definition and a 48 mega pixels back-facing camera, the OnePlus 7 also has a larger aperture and higher 60 fps video frame rates.
Galaxy A42 counts with a much better memory to install applications and games than OnePlus 7, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Galaxy A42 features greater battery lifetime than OnePlus 7, because it has a 35% greater battery capacity.
