Comparison review
Galaxy A71 has a score of 87.5, which is a lot better than OnePlus 7's 71.6 global score. These phones work with the same Android 11 operating system. Even though the Galaxy A71 and the OnePlus 7 were released only a couple of months apart, the Galaxy A71 is a little bit thinner and a little lighter.
OnePlus 7 features a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy A71 features much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than OnePlus 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The OnePlus 7 features a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy A71. They have the same number of cores and 6 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with better battery performance than OnePlus 7, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. The Galaxy A71 counts with a bit better camera than OnePlus 7, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega pixels and a bigger camera sensor shooting better quality photos.
Samsung Galaxy A71 costs more than OnePlus 7, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
