The Galaxy M40 is much better than the OnePlus 7, getting a global score of 85 against 71.6. These phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version. Although the Galaxy M40 and OnePlus 7 were released only 1 months apart, the Galaxy M40 is a bit thinner and just a little lighter.
OnePlus 7 has a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy M40. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 6 GB RAM. Samsung Galaxy M40 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than OnePlus 7, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
OnePlus 7 has just a little better battery duration than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 6 percent bigger battery capacity.
