The Galaxy S8 is better than the OnePlus 7, with a score of 81.7 against 71.6. Despite of the fact that Galaxy S8 is notably older than OnePlus 7, it's construction is lighter and just a little thinner. Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit better display than OnePlus 7, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution.
OnePlus 7 features a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 7 also has a higher amount of RAM. Galaxy S8 features slightly more memory to install games and applications than OnePlus 7, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 256 GB.
The OnePlus 7 shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy S8, and although they both have a same size aperture and the same video resolution, the OnePlus 7 also has a lot larger camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photos and videos, faster video frame rates and a lot higher 48 mega-pixels resolution camera.
OnePlus 7 features superior battery life than Galaxy S8, because it has a 23 percent greater battery size.
