Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has an overall score of 76, which is a little bit better than OnePlus 7's score of 71.6. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a more recent 6.0 Marshmallow version while OnePlus 7 has Android 11 version, offering some nice extra features and performance enhancements. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is an older cellphone than OnePlus 7, but Xiaomi made it a little lighter and just a little bit thinner.
OnePlus 7 has just a little better performance than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the OnePlus 7 also has a larger number of faster cores. OnePlus 7 counts with a bit sharper display than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because it has a just a bit greater pixel amount in each screen inch, a quite larger display and a little bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution.
OnePlus 7 has a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 7 also has a way larger back camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a bigger diafragm aperture and a lot more megapixels camera.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2's memory capacity to store more games and applications is very similar to the OnePlus 7 one, both have the same internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Note 2 counts with a little better battery life than OnePlus 7, because it has a 10% greater battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 7, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the OnePlus 7. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the OnePlus 7, letting go a couple features and specifications.
