Comparison review
The Galaxy A71 has a general score of 87.5, which is much better than the OnePlus 8 UW's global score of 75.9. Galaxy A71 is a just a bit thinner and just a little bit lighter cellphone than OnePlus 8 UW, even when both of them were only released 3 months apart. Both devices in this comparison review work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy A71 has the newer 11 version and OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, offering a couple additional features.
The OnePlus 8 UW features a brighter display than Galaxy A71, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2400 resolution, the OnePlus 8 UW also counts with a just a little greater pixel density. The Galaxy A71 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than OnePlus 8 UW, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy A71 also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The OnePlus 8 UW counts with just a little better performance than Galaxy A71, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 UW also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy A71 features just a little bit longer battery performance than OnePlus 8 UW, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 has a slightly better camera than OnePlus 8 UW, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy A71 also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a larger sensor which offers a better photo and video quality.
In addition to being the best phone in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy A71 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it an easy decision.
