Comparison review
Xperia 1 VI is slightly better than the OnePlus 8 UW, having an 83.2 score against 75.9. Both phones we compare here include Android OS, but the Xperia 1 VI has a more recent 14 version while OnePlus 8 UW has Android 10, so it offers some extra features. Xperia 1 VI is a notably lighter and a lot thinner cellphone than the OnePlus 8 UW.
