Comparison review
IPhone XS Max is better than the OnePlus 8, with a global score of 84.5 against 76. IPhone XS Max is an older and somewhat heavier device than the OnePlus 8, but Apple was able to make it a little bit thinner anyway. Apple iPhone XS Max has a bit more powerful CPU than OnePlus 8, because although it has less RAM memory and an inferior number of cores and also slower, it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
The OnePlus 8 features a little bit better screen than Apple iPhone XS Max, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite lower pixel density, and they both have a display with the same size, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a way brighter screen. The OnePlus 8 captures much clearer photos and videos than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the OnePlus 8 also has a much more megapixels back camera and a much bigger back camera sensor providing a much higher image quality.
The OnePlus 8 has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than iPhone XS Max, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. OnePlus 8 has better battery duration than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3179mAh.
Although iPhone XS Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than OnePlus 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the OnePlus 8. If you want to save some money, you can buy OnePlus 8, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
