The Asus ZenFone AR is a bit better than OnePlus 8, having a 77.4 score against 76. The Asus ZenFone AR construction is just a bit lighter than the OnePlus 8, but it is thicker and was released 3 years before. The OnePlus 8 features a bit more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone AR, because although it has a little bit lower pixels number in each screen inch and a little lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a bit larger display.
Asus ZenFone AR has a much greater memory to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Asus ZenFone AR also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The OnePlus 8 counts with greater battery performance than Asus ZenFone AR, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh. OnePlus 8 takes much better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone AR, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the OnePlus 8 also has a back-facing camera with much more megapixels, a much larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a larger aperture for better photos in low-light situations and faster 60 fps video frame rates.
