LG V30 is just a bit better than OnePlus 8, with a score of 79.1 against 76. Although LG V30 is notably older than OnePlus 8, it's body is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner. The OnePlus 8 has a bit more vivid display than LG V30, because although it has a just a bit worse number of pixels per inch in the display and a way lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a little bit larger screen.

The LG V30 has a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than OnePlus 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. OnePlus 8 counts with a little faster processor than LG V30, and although they both have 8 cores, the OnePlus 8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.

OnePlus 8 captures much better photos and videos than LG V30, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a lot bigger sensor providing a way better image quality, higher video frame rates and a much more megapixels back facing camera.

OnePlus 8 counts with better battery performance than LG V30, because it has a 4300mAh battery size against 3300mAh.
