Comparison review

The LG V50 ThinQ has an overall score of 83.7, which is better than the OnePlus 8's general score of 76. Although it's the best in this review, we must highlight that it's also older, just a bit thicker and a bit heavier. The OnePlus 8 and the LG V50 ThinQ feature similar processors, and although the LG V50 ThinQ has lesser RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.

The OnePlus 8 counts with a slightly better looking display than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a much lower resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a quite worse pixels density, it also counts with a little bit larger display. The LG V50 ThinQ has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than OnePlus 8, and although they both have the same internal storage, the LG V50 ThinQ also has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.

OnePlus 8 has a bit longer battery life than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has an 8 percent greater battery size. OnePlus 8 has a better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same 60 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a lot bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way higher resolution back-facing camera.

The LG V50 ThinQ not only is the best phones in our current comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper, making buying this phone an easy decision.
