Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is a bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 global score. Galaxy A8 Star is an older and just a little heavier phone than OnePlus 8, but Samsung was able to make it a little bit thinner anyway. OnePlus 8 features a brighter screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a quite larger screen and a just a little more pixels per inch in the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star counts with a quite bigger storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 400 GB. OnePlus 8 features a little bit better processing power than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The OnePlus 8 features just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity. The OnePlus 8 shoots better pictures and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality videos and photos, a way higher resolution camera in the back and better video frame rates.
