Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a general score of 86.5, which is much better than the OnePlus 8's global score of 76. Even being the best we compare here, Samsung Galaxy M31's design is somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier than OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 features a little bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy M31, because it has a little bit bigger display, much more brightness, a quite higher number of pixels per inch of display and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
The OnePlus 8 counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy M31, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM memory. Galaxy M31 takes just a bit better photographs and videos than OnePlus 8, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a F1.8 aperture, the Galaxy M31 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Galaxy M31 has a quite bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than OnePlus 8, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a really longer battery life than OnePlus 8, because it has a 40% greater battery size.
