Comparison review
Galaxy M31s has an overall score of 88, which is better than OnePlus 8's 76 global score. Even being the best cellphone we are comparing here, the Galaxy M31s is a somewhat thicker and heavier cellphone than the OnePlus 8. The OnePlus 8 has a brighter display than Galaxy M31s. Both have the same pixels density, the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a same size screen.
The OnePlus 8 has a little faster processing unit than Samsung Galaxy M31s, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the OnePlus 8 also has more RAM. Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a much better storage capacity for games and applications than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 512 GB.
The Galaxy M31s has a superior battery lifetime than OnePlus 8, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4300mAh. The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a little bit better camera than OnePlus 8, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also counts with a bigger camera sensor providing a better image quality and a lot higher resolution camera.
