Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is better than the OnePlus 8, having an 87.1 score against 76. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a better phone than the OnePlus 8, we must tell that it's also an older, thicker and heavier phone. The Samsung Galaxy Note9 and OnePlus 8 both count with very similar processors, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note9 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.

OnePlus 8 has a slightly better screen than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a bit lower pixels density and a way worse 1080 x 2400px resolution, it also counts with a little larger display. Galaxy Note9 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than OnePlus 8, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note9 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.

OnePlus 8 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note9, because it has an 8 percent larger battery capacity. The OnePlus 8 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality and the same video frame rates, the OnePlus 8 also counts with a lot better resolution back facing camera and a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.

Samsung Galaxy Note9 costs more than OnePlus 8, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
