Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than OnePlus 9, getting a score of 82.2 against 76. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better phone than the OnePlus 9, we must note that it is also noticeably older, notably thicker and somewhat heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium has a processing unit that is just as good as the OnePlus 9 one, and although the Xperia XZ2 Premium has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has an incredibly better looking screen than OnePlus 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 and a much higher display pixels density. OnePlus 9 has a greater camera than Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a lot larger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality, a much better 7680x4320 video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much higher resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a greater memory for games and applications than OnePlus 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 400 GB. OnePlus 9 features greater battery life than Xperia XZ2 Premium, because it has a 27% greater battery size.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a lot more expensive than the OnePlus 9, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
