Comparison review
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a general score of 79, which is a bit better than OnePlus 9's 76 score. Even though Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is better than the OnePlus 9, it must be noted that it's also older, just a little heavier and a little thicker. Both phones we compare here have the same Android 11 operating system, so both should provide you all the same operating system features.
OnePlus 9 has just a bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same 1080 x 2400 resolution, the OnePlus 9 also counts with a little bit more pixels per screen inch. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a quite bigger storage for applications and games than OnePlus 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB.
OnePlus 9 counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the OnePlus 9 also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features just a bit better battery performance than OnePlus 9, because it has a 12 percent bigger battery capacity.
OnePlus 9 captures clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have a same resolution camera in the back and the same aperture, the OnePlus 9 also has a much better 7680x4320 video resolution and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality photographs and videos.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is also by far the cheapest.
