Samsung Galaxy S4 is way better than the Oppo R5, with a global score of 78.2 against 61.9. Both phones in our current comparison use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy S4 has 4.4.2 version while Oppo R5 has Android 4.4.4. Samsung Galaxy S4's design is thicker but somewhat lighter than the Oppo R5.
Oppo R5 and Galaxy S4 count with quite similar screens, because although the Galaxy S4 has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per screen inch. Samsung Galaxy S4 features a much better memory for apps and games than Oppo R5, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
The Oppo R5 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy S4, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM, the Oppo R5 also has a higher number of cores (but slower), a 64-bit processor and a faster graphics processor running at 500 MHz. The Oppo R5 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the Oppo R5 also has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a bigger aperture for better low-light captures and videos.
Galaxy S4 features longer battery duration than Oppo R5, because it has a 30 percent bigger battery capacity.
