Comparison review
HTC Hero S is a little bit better than Samsung Fascinate, with a 55.8 score against 55.1. Both phones we compare here work with the same Android 2.3 operating system, so they should offer the same operating system features. The HTC Hero S design is newer, but a little heavier and somewhat thicker than Samsung Fascinate.
Samsung Fascinate has just a bit better screen than HTC Hero S, although it has a little bit lower resolution of 800 x 480 and a bit less pixels per display inch, they both have a display of the same size. The HTC Hero S has a little faster CPU than Samsung Fascinate, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 1 CPU cores, the HTC Hero S also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
The HTC Hero S features a much better camera than Samsung Fascinate. Both have the same video frame rate, the same (HD) video quality and the same resolution camera in the back. The HTC Hero S features a quite bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Fascinate, and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the HTC Hero S also has 2 GB more internal memory.
The HTC Hero S has a battery lifetime that's just as good as the Samsung Fascinate one, although the HTC Hero S also has 1520mAh of battery capacity.
HTC Hero S is not only the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also a bit cheaper, which makes it a very good choice.
